Cabling & Networking

Data cabling is the base for everything else: cameras, Wi-Fi, smart home, AV. I run it once, label both ends, and test it.

Materials stance

Solid-copper Cat6 or Cat6a. Never CCA. Every run tested and labeled.

Cameras you own, recording to a local box. No monthly fee. Wired PoE, so one cable carries power and video.

Materials stance

PoE over solid copper, recorded to an NVR you control. Cloud is optional. Cameras placed to cover blind spots.

Lighting, locks, thermostats, and scenes. Set up to keep working when the internet drops.

Materials stance

Local control where possible. Standards-based gear (Matter, Z-Wave, Zigbee) so it keeps working if a vendor disappears.

Fiber runs, ISP hand-off, and links between buildings, plus the electrical to power the gear I install.

Fiber spliced and tested. Circuits, rack power, and grounding done to code.
